Meet The Team

Adam is the owner and founder of Premier Construction. In 2004 he started a real estate investment business and gained his expertise in the construction industry by "flipping" houses. After the burst of the housing bubble, Premier Construction was started in 2008. His focus has been to deliver a quality product at an affordable price. Adam's position with Premier is in sales and estimating as well as project management support. Premier is a design-build company and Adam plays a key role in all project designs to ensure the client's vision becomes a reality. Adam is the proud father of two boys (only 10 months apart). Some would say Adam is a serial hobbyist - his passion is big game hunting, loves to travel, and tries to golf. He serves on the board of Simple Church and is passionate about Christ and helping young men achieve their full potential. He supports Freedom for Youth Ministries and serves in the student ministry at his church. He is an active member of Glen Oaks Country Club and SCI for hunters.

Junior is the lead framer for Premier Construction. He has been in the framing business since 1999 and he knows how to build things. We count on Junior to get the structure up and tie into any existing structure we are adding onto. He is very knowledgeable on all the current codes and is very familiar with the IRC handbook. Junior stays busy at home with his 5 kids. He enjoys spending time with his wife and loves to fish!

Curt is the jack of all trades for Premier Construction. He is the "punch out" guy and goes in after the project and fine-tunes all trades and ensures we deliver a quality product to the client. Curt has a wife and 2 kids and enjoys camping in the summer and fall months.

Tyler assists Premier Construction with everything from building residential and commercial structures to making sure the job sites are clean and safe. 

We can always trust Jesse to do a great job painting and finishing the job professionally.

Tom is a 3rd generation plumber and is the owner of Porter Plumbing. He specializes in commercial and residential plumbing and is very knowledgeable on retrofit remodel plumbing. Tom is the proud father of 2 children and loves to spend time with his family. You will also find Tom cruising around on his Harley in the summer months.

Roger West is the owner/operator of West Heating and Cooling. Roger has been with Premier since 2004, making him one of the longest standing subcontractors on Premier's team. He has been in the HVAC business since he was a young man and has really been involved in continuing education to stay up to speed to the current codes and residential HVAC requirements. Roger lives in Truro, Iowa and enjoys being out on the farm. He has a wife and 2 kids and loves the outdoors.

Derek Gruss is the owner of Gruss Concrete and Construction. He installs all of our poured walls and flatwork. Derek has been in the foundation business since 1996, so he knows a thing or two about poured walls. When not working on the job site into the wee hours of the day, Derek enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid outdoorsman and shed hunter. Derek is not only a subcontractor of Premier Construction, but he is also a great friend.
